WMU School of Medicine Clinics and Linda Richards Building
The WMU School of Medicine Oakland Drive campus consists of the medical school ambulatory clinics, residency programs, administrative offices and training rooms. The Oakland Drive campus is located 1.3 miles from the downtown W.E. Upjohn campus and includes the Linda Richards Administration building, with 43,150 square-feet of office space used by clinical faculty and administrative support staff. Attached to the Linda Richards building is the WMU School of Medicine Clinics located in a modern 60,000 square-foot clinical building that provides more than 68,000 outpatient visits annually. There are 22 subspecialty clinics and a full range of on-site ancillary services.
Another resource at the Oakland Drive campus is Spindler Hall, which provides 7,800 square-feet of office and classroom space. All of the Oakland Drive facilities are owned by Western Michigan University and leased to the medical school.
