Adolescent Medicine

Teens go through a unique phase of development – physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. It is a time of great transition for not only teens, but parents as well. Our goal is to provide specialized care in a confidential and youth-friendly manner, as they transition into healthy, young adults. The adolescent clinical service works in the setting of integrated behavioral health with access to psychologists. In addition, we also access services of our medical social workers and dietician. For reproductive care, our practice works in close collaboration with our gynecology clinical service. We provide a full range of care, including specific areas of significance for adolescents and young adults:

  • Pubertal concerns
  • Reproductive health care
  • Contraceptive services
  • STI screening and treatment
  • Eating disorders
  • Primary care sports medicine
  • Health care for LGBTQ youth
  • Health care for teens with chronic diseases
  • Adolescent behavioral and mental health issues
