Pediatric Sleep Medicine

The Pediatric Sleep Medicine service provides care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults for a full range of concerns related to sleep. Many sleep concerns in children and adolescents may also have behavioral component; our clinic works collaboratively with our pediatric psychology team to address such concerns. Diagnostic testing including sleep studies will be ordered as indicated; we work collaboratively with the Bronson Sleep Health laboratory and program.

Sleep related concerns seen in our clinic include:

  • Disorders in control of breathing
  • Central and obstructive apnea
  • Snoring
  • Restless leg syndrome
  • Periodic limb movement disorder
  • Circadian rhythm disorder
  • Narcolepsy
  • Difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep
  • Insomnia
  • Excessive daytime sleepiness
  • Sleepwalking, sleep talking, and sleep eating disorders
  • Nightmares and night terrors
  • Other sleep issues

Our Location

Our practice is located at 1000 Oakland Drive on the 2nd floor in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Parking is available adjacent to the building. Our practices are a non-smoking environment. We strive to provide a clean environment for our patients.

Fees and Insurance

Our practice participates with many insurance providers, including Medicaid and Medicaid Health Plans. Before you first visit, check with your insurance company to understand what services will be paid for by your insurance plan. For every appointment, you will need to bring your insurance card(s). Co-pays are due at the time of service and accepted forms of payment are cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. If you have questions, our patient financial counselors we are ready to help you.
