Sonia Shariff, MD, is a board-certified general adult psychiatrist with the Department of Psychiatry at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She is a graduate of Wayne State University from Detroit, Michigan. She completed her residency in psychiatry at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. After completing her residency, Dr. Shariff accepted a position at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services where she worked on a dual diagnosis unit. She also served as a mentor and teacher for the resident physicians and medical students, which is where her interest lies.
